Papago has long been considered one of the finest municipal golf courses in the United States. It is home of the Phoenix Open Qualifying. An early morning arrival is recommended for this highly popular course.





Youth Golf Classes


PGA professionals teach golf free to area youth, ages eight to 17, in year-round classes which typically last about a month. To register, individuals should sign up at the golf course. Tournaments


Papago Golf Course hosts a variety of tournaments. Booking is recommended a year in advance for weekend dates, and all requests for tournaments after initial screening should be directed to the Head Golf Professional at (602) 275-8428
