Eberhart-Petro Municipal Golf Course

Eberhart initially began in 1929 as a 9 hole course along and south of the St. Joseph River. In 1949, the course expanded north of the river and added 9 more holes. Aptly named after its benefactors, Frederic George Eberhart, and Mason L. Petro, this 5502 yard, 18 hole par 70 golf course with four river crossings provides avid golfers a round of golf along the peaceful, scenic St. Joseph River. The course also includes the Eberhart Pro Shop and the Eberhart Grille Restaurant. The restaurant is available for wedding receptions, graduation parties, and other gatherings. Both the pro shop and restaurant are on the west side of the course — at 801 N. State Street.
