Ames Golf & Country Club is very proud of the recreational activities we are able to provide to our membership and if golf is your game, you've found "THE PLACE TO BE." The renowned Donald Sechrest of Tulsa, Oklahoma, designed the 18-hole, 114-acre course in 1971. The golf course boasts lush fairways, tees and well-manicured greens irrigated and surrounded by a few small, well-positioned lakes. Also included is an ample Practice and Teaching facility and a large Practice Green. Services include Club Repair, HANDICOMP Handicap System, Club Storage, as well as a fleet of 40 electric golf cars for your convenience. Golf cars may be purchased by the round or season packages are available.
