Elkridge Hunt Golf Course

One hundred twenty seven years old, one hundred seventeen years in the same location, the Elkridge Club has had nearly two thousand nine hundred members. The past represents a tradition that cannot be quickly acquired, and the future, while unknown, is faced by a club in sound physical and financial circumstances.

To make your visit a pleasant one, we ask that you observe the following:

Attire

Casual dress is acceptable at both lunch and dinner in The Grille, Trophy Room and Back Porch dining areas.

In the Formal Dining Room, Front Porch and Garden Terrace, as well as the Living Room and Portrait Room cocktail lounges, a coat and tie are required for the gentlemen, dress or dress slacks for ladies.

When dressed casually, members and guests should not enter the Club through the front door in the evening.

Jeans are NOT permitted on the premises at any time. Hats should never be worn inside the clubhouse, and when seated on the porches or Garden Terrace.

Smoking

The only places smoking is allowed inside the clubhouse are Andy’s Bar, which by tradition has been for men, and the second floor Board & Paddock Rooms for women.
