The course was designed by local golf course architect Brian Huntley.The new Sanctuary course includes 18 new greens, tees, and fairways, plus 5 entirely new holes and many new and rebuilt bunkers.

The Sanctuary course features 5 sets of tees on each hole. The multiple tee design provides a fair and intersting challenge for golfers of all types. The yardage ranges from 6,811 (Gold Tees) to 4,921 (Green Tees).
