The Squires in Port Washington is one of the finest values around. Throw in an amazing clubhouse with full banquet facilities, and you've got a majestic setting for the whole family to enjoy. The course is owned and operated by the Bloemer Family, and it's their service and attention to detail that make the previous paragraphs valid. This is also a wonderful course for outings due to its non-threatening nature. The high-handicap player will find it a challenge and will not lose too many balls, while the low handicapper will try to shoot in the 60's-either way it's a blast to play!

The key to the success of any golf facility starts with the property itself. Squires features rolling terrain, lush greens, and a few unique design features that will make your next round there a memory-maker! Although playing out to just under 6000 yards from the tips, it doesn't take long for Squires to let you know this par 70 is a challenging layout. But we're are not the only ones to laud The Squires as a top-notch facility. Golf Digest rated them a 4-star property in 2004 and stated, "they may have the best greens in the area." The greens roll at a consistent 11 on the Stimp meter during the summer months, so Squires may be the closest you get to Augusta National without leaving the state.
